TCP-DS

Massive data volumes and complex workloads have made efficient data processing and analytics increasingly critical to organizations of all kinds and sizes. This demand has naturally led to advances in decision support analytics technology, as well as decreased costs.

The nonprofit Transaction Processing Performance Council (TPC) developed TPC-DS testing to provide objective performance metrics for decision support (hence, “DS”) solutions, such as SQream. It quickly became the most widely accepted standard benchmarking tool in the industry, modeling real-world business queries and data maintenance for very large datasets.
