QA Automation Manager

About The Position

We are looking for a QA Automation Manager to be the focal point for test plan reviews and automation tests for our GPU-powered SQL analytics database.

The tests that are written will cover database functionality, stress, system testing, performance benchmarking, and the integration process.

You will be reporting directly to the VP R&D and manage the QA automation team.

* Web automation experience is not relevant for this position.

Responsibilities:

  • The focal point for QA Automation methodology, enhance and improve our QA processes with R&D.
  • Defining gaps and required frameworks for testing on-prem solutions and multi cloud environments.
  • Reviewing and enforcing R&D test plans.
  • Perform ongoing code reviews as part of the special/stability/regression tests using automated frameworks.
  • Bugs backlog management.
  • Analysing and addressing test reports.
  • Ongoing Interaction with other departments to facilitate ongoing efforts & needs.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of proven work experience in QA Automation – Must
  • 2+ years of proven work experience in Managing QA Automation teams – Must
  • Solid knowledge of software QA and Automation methodologies, tools, and processes. – Must
  • Experience in Building / Maintaining / Enhancing infrastructure for QA Automation - Must
  • Solid knowledge of Linux OS and Monitoring/Testing Linux resources (Memory, CPU, Limits, Etc.) – Must
  • Experience coding in Python – Must
  • Solid Experience in SQL – Must
  • Proven experience in a cloud environment (AWS/GCP/Azure)
  • Experience working in an Agile environment
  • Experience working with a large scale system
  • Proven work experience with Databases
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • B.Sc. in Computer Science or Information Systems
