We're looking for a talented and experienced Senior DevOps Engineer. As a Sr. DevOps Engineer you will work on our highly scalable systems focusing on SQream BigData processing pipeline, ingesting billions of daily events. Make sure our systems and infrastructures scale and perform at optimal levels.

In SQream we believe in innovation, so our vision is to build a tier-1 cloud operation that is fully automated and cloud agnostic. Our architecture is based on Kubernetes, so we need someone who can manage the environment, scalability, resiliency, redundancy and security. As a Senior DevOps your role will be to constantly plan, build and enhance the architecture & the Cloud infrastructure. 

Responsibilities:

  • Build our Infrastructure and BigData DevOps roadmap. Research and implement new/best DevOps practices and processes including automation, CI/CD and service discovery
  • Lead a team of DevOps Engineer experts to run our cloud infrastructure
  • Implement tools and procedures in support of Production environments, Deployment and CI/CD infrastructure
  • Work with developers, SRE and automation engineers to architect solutions that increase efficiency, scale and reliability across SQream architecture
  • Maintain multiple, consistent environments (Development, Test, Production QA and Production)
  • Enforce security principles and practices as needed


Requirements


  • 3+ years’ experience as DevOps Engineer with at least 1 year experience as Senior DevOps Engineer
  • Strong expertise with GCP and/or AWS. Experience with other cloud technologies is a plus
  • Strong experience with K8S (GKE, EKS, Openshift) framework both as builder and production support
  • Experience working with Cloud Production environments
  • Strong experience with CI/CD tools & implementations
  • Strong experience with IaC (Infrastructure as a Code) tools such as Terraform
  • Experience with programming and scripting languages (Python, Bash)
  • Experience with logging and monitoring technologies and services
  • A state of mind and approach to automate away from manual efforts
  • A strong sense of ownership and accountability
