Automation Tech Lead

About The Position

We are looking for an Automation Tech Lead to be the QA focal point for test plan reviews and automation tests for our GPU-powered SQL analytics database. The tests that are written will cover database functionality, stress, system testing, performance bench-marking and integration process. You will be part of the QA team department and involved within our R&D group.  

Responsibilities

  • The focal point for QA methodology, enhance and improve our QA processes with R&D
  • To define the gaps and required framework for cloud testing - refreeze
  • To review the test plans of major features in the R&D
  • To implement using Python code part of the special/stability/regression tests using automated frameworks
  • Monitor/Test Linux resource allocations (Memory, CPU, Limits, Etc.)
  • Manage bugs from customers /internal
  • Analyze and share test reports including vertical trends
  • Interact with Product, Projects and R&D teams to facilitate ongoing testing efforts

Requirements

  • At least 10 years of proven work experience in testing/QA 
  • At least 2 years of proven experience in a cloud environment (AWS/GCP/Azure)
  • Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools and processes
  • Experience in Python (or Java)
  • Good familiarity with Linux OS
  • Proven work experience with Databases
  • Good knowledge of SQL and scripting
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • B.Sc. in Computer Science or Information Systems
