QA Engineer
About The Position
We are looking for a QA Engineer to join our team.
In this role, you will run automation and manual tests and execute SQL-based testing scripts for our GPU-powered SQL analytics database. The tests will cover database performance benchmarking, and integration process. You will be part of the performance team within our R&D group.
Responsibilities:
- Perform ongoing performance and regression activities
- Create and modify performance tests
- Interact with Delivery and R&D teams to facilitate ongoing testing efforts
- Analyze and debug test reports for optimizing the system
Requirements
- 1-2 years of experience in QA engineering or capacity engineering
- BSc degree in Industrial Engineering and Management other technical fields
- Experience in scripting languages such as Python/Bash
- Hands-on in using automated/manual testing, debugging, benchmarks and performance tools
- Proven work experience with SQL Databases
- Experience working with cross-functional teams
- Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to perform root cause analysis
Advantage:
- Experience in a Cloud environment (AWS/GCP/Azure)
- Experience in SQL tuning
- Good familiarity with Linux OS
