Sales Director, NY Area

SQream Technologies provides organizations with the most rapid, cost-effective, petabyte-scale Big Data analytics SQL database available on the market today.
We’re looking for an individual to become SQream’s representative on the East Coast (NY-based). The Sales Director, NY Area will implement SQream’s sales strategy and establish a foothold in the region. The ideal candidate is a self-starter, Independent, passionate about technology and success-driven.

Responsibilities

  • Lead sales activities from initial contact through closure and drive SQream Technologies penetration across the East Coast
  • Create and implement end-customer opportunities through sales and marketing activities
  • Lead channel/OEM partners recruitment and management
  • Understand customers’ business goals and needs, and deliver relevant solutions
  • Build and maintain relationships with key prospects, decision makers, alliance partners and industry experts
  • Identify new trends and analyze competitors’ products and activities
  • Provide feedback to marketing and sales teams while being intimately involved with strategizing and product development planning
  • Represent SQream at trade shows, conferences and meetings so as to initiate sales of the company’s product line

Knowledge and experience

  • Rich experience in selling sophisticated data-centric solutions such as business intelligence software, data visualization software, relational database management systems, data integration and/or ETL tools
  • Have an independent/consultative selling approach and be able to craft solutions that provide tangible business benefits
  • Record of closing new sales as well as increasing sustainable revenues within the company’s client base
  • Proven ability to close enterprise level deals
  • Display a good technical understanding as part of the sales process
  • Strong relationship-building skills, based on preparing and delivering presentations and negotiating with C-level executives
  • Excellent networking skills and a sustained client base within the IoT/financial services/healthcare/telco industries
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to establish positive relationships with clients and colleagues
  • A result-orientated, hands-on person who gets things done on a consistent basis
  • Self-directed, self-motivated and able to work independently
  • Location – NY area
  • Extensive travel
